Original stone finish (78)

This delightful green man has very distinctive oak foliage with acorns and some empty acorn cups. The actual boss in the Chapel is quite small, only about 10 inches across, and is beautifully carved. It is above a doorway and looks down upon you as you enter one of the north side chapels. If you look very closely at the original you will notice that he has been damaged at some stage and lost one acorn. In this instance we have "restored" the miniature and put back the missing acorn.
