Eric The Green Man. This Green man and No. 83 are in very close proximity to one another in the cloister vaulting. We first spotted this fellow when we were setting up a stall for Worcester Cathedral Gift shop and, looking up, noticed that he was directly above us. The carving style is slightly curious, the execution of the face being quite primitive, yet the foliage is really quite graceful. When we first sent a sample of this miniature to Worcester Cathedral Gift shop, he was immediately christened Eric!
