All of our work is carried out exclusively in-house by ourselves. No licence to produce any of our miniatures has been, or will be, granted. This ensures that our work retains its integrity and our standards of pattern making and production remain constantly as high as we are able to achieve. In the event of you coming across plagiarised copies of our work, we would very much like to hear from you. In accordance with European Statutory Instrument 2000 No. 2334 issued by the European Parliament and Council 97/7/EC legislation introduced on 31st October 2000 relating to consumer protection within the EC with regard to purchase by distance we include the following information for your benefit. The nature of the products is as defined in the on-line catalogue. All photographs have been taken to display the pieces as accurately as is possible and approximate dimensions are included in the written description. Due to the handmade nature of the work and the materials used there may be minor variations in colour, finish and texture, but they are not significant enough to detract from the illustrated examples shown. These subtle differences are apparent upon inspection of a number of the catalogue photographs. All orders for products are subject to availability. Any goods ordered will be dispatched within thirty days. In the event of a delay being forseen, or piece being unavailable, Martin and Oliver Webb will inform the customer either in writing, or e-mail. In addition Martin and Oliver Webb reserve the right to refuse to supply any individual, group of individuals, or company for any reason whatever. Martin and Oliver Webb do not accept orders placed by persons under 18 years of age. This display of product details does not in itself constitute an offer capable of acceptance. Martin and Oliver Webb will only be contractually bound to supply once an order has been accepted. In the event that Martin and Oliver Webb decides not to meet your order any money you have paid will be returned within a reasonable time. All of the miniatures made by Martin and Oliver Webb Fine Stone Miniatures (although replicas of existing objects owned by other individuals or organisations) are original pieces, all pattern making having been done by Martin and Oliver Webb. As such, the copyright of the miniatures remains the property of Martin and Oliver Webb and any replication of the miniatures by use of moulds or casts is strictly prohibited. You are granted permission to electronically copy and print in hard copy portions of this web-site for the sole purpose of placing an order with Martin and Oliver Webb. In no case shall the property in any goods pass to the purchaser until the price for the same has been paid in full. No items will be dispatched until such payment has been made. Martin and Oliver Webb Fine Stone Miniatures' product prices are reviewed annually at the end of each calendar year. Delivery costs are as stated in the price list and may be increased at any time subject to rises in the cost of postage or carrier. All customer details, i.e. names, addresses, e-mail addresses, etc, will be kept in strictest confidence and will not be passed on to, nor made available to, any third party. Damaged goods We want you to be completely satisfied with your miniatures. In the unlikely event of your miniature arriving damaged please return any damaged item complete with all of its original packaging. Martin and Oliver Webb will refund your postage cost and dispatch a replacement item. Cancellation of contract If it is wished to cancel the contract of sale the purchaser has a right to do so provided that written notice is given to Martin and Oliver Webb via either the postal or e-mail addresses given above within seven days (excluding the day of arrival) of receipt of the goods to qualify for a full refund. This clause applies only to "distance purchases" made within European economic areas and does not apply to miniatures purchased through shops where the product has been available for examination prior to purchase. The purchaser is obliged to retain possession of the goods and take reasonable care of them during any period prior to and after cancellation whilst they still remain in the care of the purchaser. Upon cancellation the purchaser is under a duty to restore the goods to Martin and Olver Webb complete and in good condition with all the original packaging. Martin and Oliver Webb cannot accept responsibility for miniatures returned without prior discussion and any miniatures subsequently returned must be sent adequately packaged. The right to cancel the contract by giving notice of cancellation does not exist for the supply of personalised miniatures, or miniatures made specifically to the purchaser's specification. |
